About XPR$$N

Straight out of the 805, XPR$$N is an independent artist who writes, records, mixes and masters his own music. Since his first singles in 2020 he's moved between hip-hop, R&B, rap, alt rock, plugnb, drill and afrobeats without asking anyone for permission. The sound is personal, coastal and hard to box in.

His catalog runs from the quarantine-era UPSET KING EP and the live-feel storytelling of A.D.I.D.A.S. EP to WATER & WRAPS and the Oxnard-recorded BANDIT$ EP with YUNGJ.OTG. 2025 was his busiest year yet: the CATCH ME IF U CAN mixtape with 805 artists Kobe 800, Swavey3.6, Suave and YNA Jai, the ERROR404 and IMPACT777 projects, a run of visuals with JG-RELAXX, PASSPORTS (Paris) with Kobe 800, and the DUET KING mini-movie. Newest release: ESCAPE101.

Along the way he's worked with producers and artists like Parlay Paris, Spaceboyplug, Default Beats, JG-RELAXX, Kobe 800, Mane Posse and YNA Jai, performed at Club Bahia in Los Angeles, the Shadows of Tomorrow show in Ventura and the ShowCase Tour in LA, and had his story told in the I'm An Artist docuseries by A DJC Production.
